Just getting back from Arkansas and I have seen some things I have never seen in 15 years of hunting out there.
We saw a Tundra Swan in a field with a pile of mallards. We thought we were seeing things but turned around and went back to get a better look. Ive looked it up and that thing was way out of its wintering area.
Then leavin today we came by a field up near Hazen and saw a fully mature Bald Eagle and a Fully Mature Golden Eagle sitting in a rice field on a levee. We turned around and went back to look at them also. Ive looked that up too and Arkansas is in the wintering area for the Golden. May that was a huge bird. He made the Bald look small.
Now if I can just get a glimps of one of thoses Ivory Bills.
