Is it possible to bowfish with my pse whitetail obsession, or do I need a new bow? I am a huge fisherman and I love to shoot bow so I figured I would give it a try. I don't want to spend money until I'm hooked. If there is a major conversion back and forth I'm probably going to wait.:pop:

Yep , you can use it...........just turn down the lbs.
Any cheap recurve or compound will work though if you got one lying around or know someone that would give you one or sell you one for cheap.

You can use it, but I'd highly recommend against it. Bowfishing is such a blood and gut sport, why mess up your good bow. Go to any pawn shop and buy an old round wheel bow for $20.

That's what I would do. I always seem to get soaking wet when I bowfish also....I'd hate for my new bow to have guts, slime, water and mud all over it! It doesn't hurt my feelings when my old 1996 beater bow that I bowfish with gets nasty though

Definately get a cheap bow, any kind will do. If you have any old bow around you can use it......just make sure it has some power behind it.
