Terminal bullet performance

Heres a pic of some bullets I recovered on some deer that I killed with my .357 Max. One was recovered on the buck I killed , shot was behind his ear @50 yds and the other was a spine shot on a doe @ 75yds.

I am surprised that you recovered the bullet from the " behind the ear " shot , There is just not that much on the other side of the ear to stop that bullet . Good shooting . Anytime a bullet stops inside the body , the animal received the total amount of energy that bullet had to offer . Scott
