First of all the box scrape in the pics in not included and is not for sale.
I have owned this Kubota L285 tractor for about 7 or 8 years. It has a 30hp diesel engine and is rated at 26.5 at the PTO. It is an '82 or '83 model but I am only the second owner. Mechanically it is a very sound tractor. The diesel engine is strong and does not use oil and does not have any leaks. The front tires are new (3 rib). I forgot to get a picture of the left front wheel but it had some welding (by a professional) done to it 5 or 6 years ago. It is sound and strong, I just don't want anyone to get here and find a surprise. The rear tires are in fair condition. The hour meter and tachometer broke (they are contained in one unit, possibly related?) at 1700 hours which was about 50 or 60 hours ago. The temp gauge works fine. The glow plugs heat well and it starts without a problem. The loader is smooth and strong, some hoses are new and some look dry, cracked and weathered. The Category 1 3 point hitch is strong and smooth. The clutch feels good. It has a new alternator, voltage regulator and a good Interstate battery. The transmission has high and low range with a total of 8 forward gears and one reverse. It has a 2 speed PTO and rear differential lock foot pedal. It is ugly but it runs great. The original owner said it did not sit out but that it was not that well protected under the shed it stayed in most of the time. As you can see in the pics what paint is left is faded and the sheet metal is in fair shape.
The tractor is available for inspection in the Dalton area. I have a neighbor who is retired and he will deliver it for a reasonable rate of $1 per loaded mile.
$4400 cash or Certified Check
PM or email any questions or to arrange a demo/inspection. Thanks for looking.
Once again, the box scrape in the pics in not included and is not for sale.
