looks like it could be very windy on opening weekend, especially friday before, the last day of muzzleloader, do ya'll think it will keep the deer movement down, will you still go because of the wind, or say the heck with it? my brother said because it has been windy for a couple of days now, and will be so for some more to come, they got to get up and eat some time or another. i will for sure be in a deer stand starting tommorrow afternoon until the light fades on me sunday evening, how about you, will the wind ruine your hunting, or are you gonna go anyway. one nice thing about a strong wind, in my swamp in burke cty, at least the mosquitoes will have to work twice as hard to stay at the stand with me, i hate mosquitoes.

I killed my best buck in 25 mph winds. It had been storming for a couple of days and the rain quit in the night. Deer were moving good in the wind that day.
I'll be there regardless of the wind or rain or snow :)

I'll be there what ever the weather does. Except lightning. I don't climb trees in a thunderstorm. :shoot:

just got back in from opening weekend, seems the deer numbers were down from last year, especially the bucks, we only got one 10 pointer, i think it was the bad weather, especially the wind
