OK yall, this may be basic but what is this? I am assuming it some sort of caterpillar type worm or something? Thanks.

I don't believe it is termites. I would say worm or caterpillar but am not 100%.

I've got one outside on the umbrella on my deck. It hasn't came out of the cocoon yet. I'm trying to watch and see what it looks like when it emerges.
