I've already started counting down to dove season. If I can just make it till then it'll all be gravy till November.
I've got a nice little almost mint condition Ithaca M37 Ultra Featherweight 20 gauge for Christmas that I can't wait to shoot at those little grey ghosts in September.
Was in my storage room looking at my bags of dekes and wishing for cold weather and whistling wings.... Got enough on my plate now trying to get this new dog trained and hopefully I'll be able to do something with her come dove season.

Can't wait either. It's all I've been thinking about. Been working with my dog a lot lately trying to get him ready for some hunt tests. Dove season can't come fast enough, and then the best season of the year in November.

Had a hunt ruined by skybusters and really early shooters at Glover's.

I don't know if I have heard a hunt in the last 3 years or so when they don't shoot early over there.

it was so bad on pond one at west point wma. we did everything right that morning and everyone else didn't so we had the birds i mean flocks dropping in on every 30 mins all morning. there were 11 of us and we wore em out. people were so mad the would shoot from the other side just so the birds would flare so we couldn;t shoot em. people just can't leave other people be these days:banginghe
