Both opening day and Sunday, A helicopter spraying a big timber tract adjacent to mine has been cranking up at 7:30 and spraying all day... There were 2 copters and it sounded worse than Bagdad.
Does anyone know how to skin a copter?????

Sorry to hear about the choppers - I'm sure they made hunting a less-than pleasurable experience for you for sure :(

I feel for ya..I had a apache gunship fly over me on Wed in Warren Co, the thing was less than 200 ft off the ground and so loud I don't see how anyone could stand to fly it!

It is the time of the year for them (law enforcement) to be looking for Mary Jane .If it was a timber company call them up and complain that the spray killed the ticks on you.

I was wondering how to skin a crop duster a few weeks back. I got sprayed right out of my deerstand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some kind of pellitized fertilizer. He came in just feet over the tree I was sitting in!!! The shockwave from the plane nearly blew me out!!.
Ruined the whole days hunt. Two planes did aerial acrobatics over our club the whole morning and afternoon. Pretty cool watching them, but a little PO"d I couldn't hunt.

I had the same problem with a Hydro-Axe this weekend. Cutting timber on a tract just across the R/R tracks from me. They fired up about 8am and finally drove me out of the tree about 9:30. I was proabably 500 yards from the cutting and that thing was still deafening. :banginghe Skinning a helicopter or a Hydro-Axe would be the least of my worries....Where you gonna find a gambrel and a chain fall big enough to hoist one of them up?
