Tyler decided not to go Saturday evening, so of course, Logan and I had deer on us for 1.5 hours. We hunted the hardwood hill top that I hunt during bow season. Did not get there until 4:45, and set up in a low spot on the ground by 5:10. At 5:40, Logan saw movement, and I thought it was a tree rat, but it turned out to be a doe. From 5:30 - dark, we saw a total of 6, one being a young 8pt. and 3 of them came within 25 yards. Logan did great. Sure wish Tyler would have went with me, he could have had a shot at his first deer. ::huh: ::huh: ::huh:
