Washington County Need 4 Members

1286 acers in Washington county. We have 21 members now and want a total of 25. We don't have turkey rights. Land owner son hunt the turkeys. We have a camp a mile from the property with deer cooler, power, water and very secure. Membership is $400. We have a 4 points on 1 side rule during rifle season only. This will be our 3rd year doing this. During bow season you can shoot anything. You are allowed to have 2 spots marked for hunting at a time. We have mainly pines put some hardwoods and a big swamp. It backs up to the Oconee River. We have killed 9 does so far this year. PM me and I'll give you a contact number to the president of the club.

I visited this property last winter around the end of December. It is some good looking property with some good members. Couldn't figure out how to make the camping work out since I have a pop-up with no AC. That just would have made it a little to tough early in the season. If I could have worked that out, they likely would have been looking for 3 new members instead of 4. Overall though it sure looked like a good place to spend some time in the woods.

Memberships for the rest of the season will be reduced to $300. I took a couple of pictures of some of our food plots. We have several through out the property.

I remember you Miner. We haven't seen any yet. The rut usally kicks in about the first week in November. We are starting to see yearings walking around by themselves. Either momas been shot or there getting ready. To bad I can't hunt this weekend. :( But I'll be down on Wednesday night till Sunday of next week. Maybe they will wait on me. ::;

Sorry I'm no longer a member of this club. There are to many locals (5 that where all on disability :huh: ) that got in it and hunted the property way to much (everyday :mad: ).
