She should keep her opinion to herself. 99% of the meat that I ate this year was something that I either caught or killed. I had one store bought steak this year and I will take my wild game over it any day! It tastes better that way. That way you know that there isnt alot of hormones or the good Lord knows what else. I used to be one of those women that thought bunnies were cute. What the heck was my problem. I like to watch them out of season but as soon as season comes in I will be bustin briars to shoot the little critters or getting my boxes out. If I could spend some time with her, I could probably change her mind. My parents didn't hunt. They fished but my dad wouldnt eat them so we hardly got to. I dont know how I got hooked on hunting but I will never buy meat or fish from the grocery store again. Rabbit a squirrel are the best cure for hunger, you got that right! Now even my 7 yr old little girl looks at them as food. Yesterday she saw a friends rooster and said "Lookin at that chicken makes me hungry"! Now I can't go without rabbit or squirrel or deer etc. Happy Hunting!:p

I think it's a good thing that GON publishes letters to the editor like that, gives us a wake up call to let us know how some folks think.
