coyotes on wma's

buddy of mine was talking about hunting coyotes on a particular wma during the summer:hair: that's not legal, is it? I thought a game season had to be open to hunt em on wma. Same thing with hogs, right?

Yep, thats correct as far as I know. It has to be season for some game animal, and you must use a weapon that is legally appropriate for that game animal when hunting coyotes or hogs.

(sorry for the slight hijack) I've been trying to find the laws about hunting yotes on private property. Do you need a hunting license for that? I'm assuming that year-round open season applies, and there are no firearm restrictions, I'm just not sure if you need a hunting license to shoot 'em on private land.

Anyone know? Or link to a reference about this?
