Congratulations! You're right....it probably won't be your last. :bounce:

The little camel bone knife will be my 4th, and he's finishing up a Father-Son drop-point skinner set for me in desert ironwood now. I have some pretty nice knives in my little collection, but my Tabor knives are my pride and joy.

I'd been eyeing his knives for a while too and just now buying my first (the pecan & ivory drop point)! :fine: Nothing like a Tabor to start a collection with right?

Chief - you started off in a fine way! That is one mighty fine lookin knife you got. Congrats.

Thanks wv! Can't wait to see it in person! The pecan did it for me. Our farm homeplace is surrounded by massive old pecan trees that define the place and offered tons of climbing opportunities for me as a kid. Lots of good memories of the old farm house surrounded by the pecans...so the knife just seemed right.

Outstanding Knives! Do you have more? What type/grade of metal do you use for your blades. Pardon my ignorance of your work as I am new to the site. But those are beautiful blades.

Very cool! Thank you!

BTW...do you ever build filet knives? Something like a 4.5" or 5" filet knive with a little flex to the blade? If you do, after you get feeling better I want to get you to make me one.
