Whether you are a beginner or an advanced caster, we have clinics tailored for all experience levels. Let our experienced staff help take you to the next level of casting during our Sunday clinics. All clinics will be conducted on the waters of the Chattahoochee to help simulate a realistic casting environment.
Sunday, August 30th, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m: Beginner Fly Casting: Get started with the basics of fly-casting. Join the Orvis staff on the Chattahoochee River for a one hour introductory casting clinic demonstrating the progressive method of casting. Location: Paces Mill Park
Sunday, October 18th, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.: Advanced Fly Casting: Join the Orvis staff on the Chattahoochee River for this one hour clinic on the Double Haul and techniques to increase the distance of your cast. Location: Paces Mill Park
Sunday, November 8th, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.: Advanced Fly Casting: This one hour, on stream casting clinic will cover small stream casts and casting tactics. Learn to improve your roll cast, bow and arrow cast and tuck cast. Location to be determined.

We have put together an exciting list of FREE seminars beginning this Summer running through November ending with a morning of fishing with Orvis' own Shannon Ward. All on stream seminars require waders and wading boots.
Saturday, August 1st, 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.: Fly Fishing Jackson Hole, WY: Discover the great fishing in this world class destination. Fishing Manager, Shannon Ward, will talk about fly-fishing the Upper Green River, the Hoback River, the South Fork of The Snake River as well as the many small streams around the Jackson Hole area. You will learn the best time to go for diffrent hatches, as well as proper equipment to use for the area. Location: Orvis Atlanta
Saturday, October 3rd, 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.: Nymphing 101: Join Fishing Manager, Shannon Ward, on the river for this one hour seminar on proper techniques and rigging for nymph fishing. Waders and wading boots are required. Location: Paces Mill Park on the Chattahoochee River.
Saturday, October 17th, 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.: Fishing the Delayed Harvest Rivers of Georgia: Learn all the different delayed harvest streams of Georgia, what makes them special and the large trout that lurk under each overhang. We will discuss access points, water levels and provide maps for each area. Location: Orvis Atlanta
