sorry that about sums it up for us. went the other night and put 2 carp and one gar in the boat.

Considering these guys had never tried bowfishing before last night, they did great. Two of them hit the first fish they shot at... and they were little gar. Then I put them on some buffalos and they fell apart 
I'm always amazed how someone can hit a little gar 10' out in 4' of water, then miss a 40 lb fish directly under the boat.
While they did get one 30 lb buffalo, it was the 50 lb beaver that gave them the best fight. Them AL boys will shoot anything

lol i know whatchya mean about hit the little ones but missin the big ones. I never went this weekend............tryin to get things organized for bow season.
