The outfitter i know has a fall black bear hunt open for 1-3 guys for Oct. 11-17. He had it booked but the hunter backed out due to family problems. The hunt is 950 for 1 person and the price is neg. for 2 or 3 hunters. Everything is included but the license and plane tickets. He will pick you up at the airport and drop you back off. they are wearing the baits out already and he has already gone through 1200 lbs of peanut butter plus other scraps. Should be a real good hunt. Pm me for more info and i will get you in touch with him. thanks

This is a good deal, but its bear killin not bear hunting, by that I mean it's like hunting bucks in a high fence area only a bigger area once the bears come to bait they are there everyday. I don't mean to judge anyone or anything Like that, if thats what you are looking for by all means go for it I have been to New brunswick deer hunting and walked up on a bear around 500 lbs I sat my gun down and got aout the camera with this bear at less than 20 yds he just looked at me and ambled off, the guide got mad because I didn't shoot him because it was still bear season, I told him I didn't need to kill a bear there because I have plenty of opportunities at home besides I was trying to get one of those big Canadian bucks. If you want to truly experience bear hunting then try the north ga mtns and hunt for many seasons on that amount of money. You just might get to kill several bears for what that one bear costs you. But all this aside it is beautiful country up there and would be a good vacation and you might get to add a deer hunt for a few more dollars. You can kill just as big a black bear in Ga as you can Canada but not as big a buck. just a few thoughts. have fun

i have hunted bears over bait in Minn. and bears not over bait walking trails. found them both just as difficult.not high fence. thats texas.i thought the same thing about baiting, but its just the same as hunting over a food plot except it is legal.

I've always loved to hunt bear over bait. This sounds like a great deal. Wish I could go.

Well, I'm sure if someone from ga.wanted to hunt bears in Ga.,they would. Going to Canada and hunting bears in that element if the adventure-may it be over bait or not! That's just the ways things are done up there. Their bear population up there is totally different than down here!

Didn't mean to sound the way I did it is definatly an adventure but I believe our bear population is about the same or more. New brunswick is a great place for an adventure like that.
