View Full Version : million dollar shot
I screwed up this monday evening! I had a bear I've been watching for about 3 months now and he showed up around 7:30 monday. I watched him for about 10-15 minutes and finally got a good broad side shot of him i ranged him at 17.5 yards and took the shot and I then heard the crack. I didnt realize at first what happened when to go start tracking and found my arrow about 10 yards away to my surprise the broad head was broke and the only blood was on the broad head and about an inch of arrow. my friend who was their said i hit the shoulder and I thought no way I couldnt of messed up but I did. When I got back home I went to the Muzzy store in cartersville upset that my broadhead broke they werent much help just said I hit a bone and gave me a new broad head.
Does anybody have any advice, will he come back should I try for him somewhere else. I just dont know what to do I m just disgusted that hes out their hurt. PLEASE HELP (I'll post the pic of broad head tomorrow)

its hard to say if he will be back or not but i would say he will if you have been watching him for 3 months must be somthing there good to eat good luck
Just in case anybody was wondering my bear did come back and ate up my dogs food and went through the trash can. so hopefully we will try round 2 this week and I will try for a guartering away shot instead of broad side cause I think he flinched when I shot him thats why I hit the shoulder blade cause I ve been shooting my bow all week and it is on so we well have to wait and see if he will present him self again.
Pffffttt !
You'd cry if you saw a real bear.:bounce:
