Hello everyone. Been using the forum as a guest for years and finally joined. Just a little info on myself: I'm and avid deer hunter and bird dog chaser. I'm currently introducing my son to the sport of hunting. I feel if I can get him interested, I'll never loose him.
I'm a Haddock-huntin' fool! May Haddock once again be home to many Jones County Giants. Jones had its hay-day back in the 70s with all the current pine plantations being in row crops. However, with more folks managing the herd nowadays, bigger boys are on the prowl.
Oh yeah, welcome!!
. and your home town was "founded" by some of my kinfolk. There were a bunch of us in Pitt County NC through the 1700's then a bunch moved to North GA/East Tn but some broke off and went down to what is now Haddock and another bunch went out to St. Louis. At least the bunch down your way got the town named after them!
Spent some time down that way doing research in Hitchiti National Forest during my years at UGA. Pretty country.
