I had a friend tell me today that in Louisiana they now consider a 45/70 a primitive weapon and it can be used during primitive weapons season. Its due to its age or maybe inception date, not sure. Has anyone heard of this? Not that I'm goin to Lou. to muzzle hunt just curious.
