I took this doe this past weekend 10/17 in Upson county. She came feeding into a food plot around 5:30, then took that last 4-wheeler ride. My first with a muzzleloader, time to start looking for number 2. Sorry for the picture all I had was my cell.
Slayer, I shot a second doe about 25 minutes later but wasn't able recover after 3 hours of searching.
I found a few drops of blood where I shot her and located the plastic ballistic tip in the blood. The sabot took a nice size piece of pine tree after exiting which would confirm pass through. I've replayed in out a hundred times and just can't figure out why she didn't fall like the first. I'm going to change over BH209 asap. I absolutely love the gun, but hate cleaning it.
