HUNTED IN ELBERT CO THIS MORNING MY DADDY KILL A NICE 8 POINT ABOUT 7:45. THE BUCK WAS SMELLING RIGHT AND ALMOST IN FULL RUT. LOOKS LIKE THE RUT IS HERE. :cool:

We have just recently purchased 722 acres in Elbert co. and have hunted there all season. We are still trying to figure out the deer patterns. Our land is located in the Northern part of the county out past the guide stones, off of Daylilis Rd. Where was your buck killed.

We have 600 acres close to Dan Tuckers grave off Heardmont rd. We saw some early chasing last weekend and a little more in the last couple of days so if we can get a little cold weather, it should not be long!
I am not off until the 7th and only have 4 days then, so I hope it is not too late!
