We have plenty of them NW of Atlanta. The little critters just running all over the place before sundown.

We have the durn things all over this area. Never heard of anybody hunting them though. Big ol rascals!

We had a bunch of them in Ohio, they are tough, they can tear a dog up.

I used to go to WV with Kenny Jarrett to shoot ground hogs. The farmers love to let people shoot them as the burrows are a problem in the fields. They often offered long shots, so we used swifts, 22-250s, and the Jaybird in true heavy varmit rifles.
