Congratulation on your bear! Just for curiosity what cartridge di you use on this hunt? Bear meat is lean, pending on the part you like to BBQ I suggest to basted often with a mixture of olive oil and butter or wrap it up with bacon. A little shoot of wine half way during the rosting cannot hurt and will ad flavor.
Prior to BBQ rub the meat with a mixture of salt, peper, thyme and rosmery and cover with aluminium foil or saran wrap and let it rest in the fridge for few hrs to pick up the flavor.
If you can, put a pan under it during the BBQ grill to recuperate the juses that you will use to continue basting the meat.
When done covered with aluminium foil and let it rest 10 min before cutting.
Enjoy.

Thanks!
I used a Ruger RSM 375H&H and my handload with a 260gr.Nosler Accubond ...worked like a charm with complete penetration thru both shoulders with instant bang/flop stopping power! That receipe sounds great,,,,Thanks a bunch for the help!
