I only got to hunt Satuday AM. Saw 3 bucks, A spike a six point and a 8 point(12" wide) Watched the spike come into 30 yards and make a new scrape. And about a hour later the 8 point came charging in to my grunt call. Ive seen a better buck earlier in bow season, Im holding out for him. Lots of rubs and several scrapes. I beleive were right in first of the rut.

Where abouts in SOUTH BARTOW are you hunting. Is it a club area or private land?

South Bartow

Got a chance to hunt this PM (Thursday 11/04) Yes it was Extremely windy! Got to see 1 deer? fly through some thick pines about 5PM then 30 min B4 dark 5 does come feed on white oaks about 30 yards from my stand. I was planning on going to my Heard County land, but I havnt seen a deer on it yet this year and I feel kinda stupid on the stand down there knowing the deer are moving good here. Good luck to all this weekend, Ill be in the stand.
