I hunted yesterday morning and saw a high but not wide 8 point (young deer) as well as a pair of yearlings ( a button head and a doe). Yesterday evening I saw the same two yearlings and a big nanny and her very young little one!
My father in law hunted the last 3 days and has not seen a deer, another member hunted yesterday evening and saw our first ever hog and shot it but didn't see any sign of the hit so it was never found as well as shooting a mistaken button head :( .
The bright side is that the little guy went to Hunters for the Hungry .
It was hot and I didn't hear hardly any shots so with some cold weather, the next 10+ days should be good!
