I am in agreement. Saturday and Sunday morning were slow. I did see 8 on Sunday evening. ONe big doe is now on the table. A spike was following the group of does and little ones. Cool weather is coming.

I saw 3 does on sunday, nothing on saturday. Just not moving much. Cooler weather needs to hit fast. End of this week is supposed to cool off a little. :yeah: Haven't seen many bucks this year on my land...how bout you guys?

I have seen the most bucks at this point of the season compared to years past. All of these bucks have been small ones (spikes, 4's, 6's and a pretty young 8).. Now we have not seen any big'uns as of yet and normally do not by this time anyway. It always seems like it is November or cold weather before they move good. We are fortunate right now with our magmt practices that all of the property joining ours is also trophy managing.

I talked with my Dad earlier today and he had been in the woods this morning. He didn't see anything but did see some good scrapes that were real fresh. One of the members did get a nice 7 pt on Sunday morning but other than that not much to report. It should get pretty good this weekend when it cools off. I'm torn on going up to Franklin County or going to Putnam and hunt my lease.

I have had the slowest season ever. I had alot of bucks on film last year(25 or 30). This year I have only seen 6 bucks total 3 point, small 10 point,spike,4 point and two 8 points. Most of the deer I have seen was in madison county.Last year I seen all my deer in franklin county. I keep a running log of what I see when I hunt and what county.I will try to post that.
