Any of yall use one for turkey with a 12 or 20 on them? I'm wanting a new turkey gun but thought I might just buy a barrel for the prohunter!

i had a 20 ga bbl on mine last year and it is a cool little gun. i actually stole the ingrediants to mkw--thanks!-- to a great patterning gun. 20 ga, pure gold .555 chike and nitro #7 hevi produced 225+ in 10" circle at 40. theres nothin like pullin the hammer back on an encore! killd my limit with it as well

What type choke does the encore shotgun use? Remington? Benelli? Browning? Anybody know?

I consider the Encore the ultimate turkey gun. I don't have one, but it is not because of a lack of desire. I "think" the Encore shotgun barrel uses the WinChoke style tube. I also think you will need to get an Encore shotgun forearm with the barrel to use with your existing frame.

the encore does use the winchoke style. I have good results shooting nitros 4x5x7 with a rhino choke.
