If you're anywhere near a good fly shop, most of them have various beginners classes. Bass Pro does, as well.

You could hire a guide for the day. If you're in the Atlanta area, I could suggest a few.

Also, there are lots of good websites and DVD's on the market. FAOL has a great "Fly Fishing Basics" section of their website. You can check it out here.

I would recommend Rex Gudgel from Get Looped Fly Fishing. He can be found out of Unicoi Outfitters (or just PM me for his cell #). Rex is a master certified casting instructor on top of being one of the nicest guys you could ever meet......

Go to North Georgia Trout Online and get involved there. All you really need to do is get a rod and practice...nothing to it after a while.
