Any Carvers out there? I'm interested in carving in the round and looking for bird, fish & decoy patterns

I'm right down the road from you and have all kinds of books, patters, and more. We also have the Chattahoochee Woodcarvers Club that meets the first Tuesday night of each month (6:30PM) at the St. Paul UMC at the corner of Bells Ferry Rd and Kurtz Rd. Come join us and you will find everything you need with a lot of help too.

I have been for about 3 1/2 years now off and on, wish there was a club closer to home, I would realy enjoy getting to know more wood carvers and maybe learn a few things.

I have been "working" on the same canvasback drake for two years now. Got the head about 95% done, just whittlin the body down now. May finish in 2008.
