Opening Morning

Wow the monkey is off the back and I still don’t think is has sunk in yet!

Saturday morning 8:15am I shot a 108 lb doe at 18 yards. The amazing thing is I could have shot two deer before I decided to shoot her.

Anyone else have opening morning success?

I called my wife on the way home yesterday and she asked me what I had killed, here was my reply, "Two more would be two!" Saw some turkeys but the deer eluded me.

I used a Thermacell, so all I killed was time. Saw a lot of squirrells though.
