Remington Model 700 Mountian Rifle

I'm thinking about purchasing another rifle for next season.

Anyone have a mod 700 mountain rifle?
Would you reccommend it?

Does it have a matte or blued finish?

I just bought one in 7-08 from TKnight on this board. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I plan on running 50-100 rounds throught it this weekend and hopefully see how the famed 7-08 works on deer. I really do like the handling and weight of the rifle. Feels lighter than my Model 700 in .243.

I've got the laminated stainless Mountain Rifle in 7mm08 and I love it. Easy to carry and accurate.

I've got a .30-06 Mountain rifle with the detachable magazine. Great gun and easy to carry.

I have been looking at the same rifle in .280. Don't know why, but I have been jonesing for a .280 for a while. Considering I already have rifles ballistically superior, I need one about like I need a hole in my head. Must be cause I haven't bought a new gun in a while. If any of yall have the .280 Mountain Rifle, please give me any feedback on its performance. I have shyed away from Remington rifles in the past, but I do like the way the 700 Mtn feels. Thanks
