Bronze Froglet

Well, the trip to south Alabama this year was NOT loaded with treefrogs. We did go out one evening to look & listen, and did see and hear a few frogs & toads. We also dipped a net in a couple of holes & one of the critters we pulled out was this little froglet. In a couple of weeks, this froglet will be a Bronze Frog - a close relative of the Mr. Bullfrog.

Nikon D3, Lester A. Dine 105 mm, f/5.6, 1/60th second, ISO 250, flash on flash bracket at near full power, handheld.

Pretty amazing the change from year to year. Last year I believe you all were covered up in frogs. Course I also believe you were pretty covered up with rain too.

Neat find and a cool shot.
