Baby dragon?

A captive short-horned lizard (aka horned toad) from last weekend. He was about 4" long.

I really like the wavy line of his lips.

Nikon D3, Lester A. Dine 105 mm, f/16, 1/60th second, ISO 800, flash on flash bracket at ~-1, 2 500 watt tungsten lights to the left, 1 500 watt tungsten light to the right, 3 25 watt flourescent lights above, & natural sunlight coming in behind me, full frame.

Ant eating beast. I had a couple for pets as a kid. Pretty cool critters and cool shots.

Been years since I've seen (or even thought about) those creatures.

Nice capture (sounds like you worked hard given all the lights you had).
