So I pulled the cam out and hoped that would inspire some gobbles! It didn't.:)

Yep, as soon as you laid down the shotgun & drug out the camera, you should have felt some drumming from about 10 yards directly behind you...

You certainly got some neat shots! That chestnut-sided warbler is one killer bird & you certainly had a cooperative one! Congrats!

There are oodles of warblers and others up there(Hawk Mt.) this time of the year. In the morning the singing is deafening. Almost had a decent shot of a male Common Yellowthroat!:banginghe I'll have to attempt again this spring, if the birds aren't gobbling!!:)
