Went fishing around the beach area at St Catherine's Sound on Friday and Saturday. It was a little windy and had a storm that came through Friday afternoon. We put in at Kilkenny Marina and fished around Newel Creek and then around St Catherine's island. Fished for trout and reds with shrimp below Cajun Thunders with only one keeper Red. We kept a couple of lines on the bottom trying to catch some Whiting. We caught several of them, but the small sharks were out in high number making it very difficult. No trout were caught on this trip.
We had a good time and no boat trouble, so I will say that it was a successful trip.
