A new friend gave me this point he napped

I met Wally last week in Florida who was a friend of my host there. He does great work with his napping skills and I wished I had taken photo's of more of his pieces. He has an awesome collection of found points and artifacts. I could hardly believe he was serious when he said; "Here, this is for you." Needless to say, I am mighty proud to have it. He said it was Georgia flint.

Great lookin` work! That first point does look like heat treated Coastal Plains Chert from Ga.

Any pic's of the chirt before it is heat treated? What would someone look for when trying to find it?
