In most situations deer can cross most state roads if traffic speeds are kept below 60 miles an hour. On a more narrow road the speed would have to be less.Now all you folks that was hit in the door by a fawn following it's mother can speak right up.

As far as driving slow, the insurance companies advise is to go to a deer a day limit.

I know when I drive home from work at nights ,I have to get my wife to come out to the truck and pry my hands loose from the steering-wheel. :D
