first time in a kayak

My boss let me take my 6 yr old son out today in his Hobie Mirage. It's a 2 man and I had a great time. We have permision to fish a water shed and the crappie are biting. I was really impressed with how well it handles and how stable it is. I can't wait to take it out again.

Hobie makes a nice boat - not sure they're worth the $$,though.I think you pay some for that "name."

Kayaks are a blast! Everybody I've known who tried one was hooked.
