I'be got an 870 with a 21" barrel and currently have a xxx (.665) comp-n-choke in it. Anyone tried hevi mag blend in this choke or the win hv extended #6?

Talked with customer service at CNC this morning. Aaronward9 has shot the 5,6,7's through his Benelli SBEII with the CNC XXXFULL choke with no problems, but CNC advises against shooting anything but lead through their turkey chokes. Supposedly, they have specific cases of damaged tubes and/or barrels as a result of HTL loads.
I have the same shotgun and choke tube that you do, but I won't be shooting any HTL loads through my CNC tube.

Ditto. CNC .665 out of my 835 24" barrel and I havent had any problems...YET.

i haven't had a single problem... YET, as others have stated. I'm going to go ahead and pick up another choke and not risk it. Benelli barrels cost about $700 alone so a choke is cheaper! A buddy of mine is going to sell me an Indian Creek choke for $35 that he doesn't use!
