Hunted the Alabama side of FT Benning today. I set up at a spot where there was a tons of sign and I was fairly confident. I walked in and attempted to locate a bird but nothing replied. I then set up where their had been alot of previous activity and worked it for about 2 hours. I heard some cutting and thats it. Not a gobble. I then hit up a different zone and walked about a mile trying to locate anything. Nothing. Has anyone heard any gobbling in the Benning area? Is it the weather. Will the heat coming in this weekend make em loud? Please Help. Thanks.
