Yeah we went to our club last Sat. to see if the loggers messed up the property when they thinned the trees. We rounded one corner & saw 12 hens, 7 JAKES & 1 tom standing in the middle of the road. Then saw 4 more jakes in another spot. By the way the loggers done a great job of clean up & obviously it didnt bother the birds any. Looks like its gonna be another good couple a years.

Also seeing alot of jakes, alot like the 09 season. But the gobbling is definitely down for us from last year though, a many of two year olds musta met their maker last year

I have been seeing a group of 7 to 9 jakes running together. Watched them chase off a strutting bird 2 weeks ago.

Next year should be an awesome year.
