I saw 'bout 10 jakes on Monday in mid GA.

Yeah we went to our club last Sat. to see if the loggers messed up the property when they thinned the trees. We rounded one corner & saw 12 hens, 7 JAKES & 1 tom standing in the middle of the road. Then saw 4 more jakes in another spot. By the way the loggers done a great job of clean up & obviously it didnt bother the birds any. Looks like its gonna be another good couple a years.

Also seeing alot of jakes, alot like the 09 season. But the gobbling is definitely down for us from last year though, a many of two year olds musta met their maker last year :huh:

I have been seeing a group of 7 to 9 jakes running together. Watched them chase off a strutting bird 2 weeks ago.

Next year should be an awesome year.
