Some nice cats for the skillet

Had a good time in my 'yak below the dam at West Point yesterday fishing with cut shad.Catfish were hongry! No real big ones,just a nice mess of panfish. Sorry - no pictures! :bounce:

Had 8 channel cats,1 flathead,and 1 blue. Them river cats sure put up a good fight on ultralight tackle! :banana:

I love catchin cats with cut bait, But the more you catch the harder it is to paddle! Hope they taste good.

Next time,I'll try to remember to take my camera.That part of the "Hooch" is really nice,and unless they're generating power the water's real clear. There are some monster fish there,too - and it's not easily accessible for stinkyboats.
