I've always heard deer ribs were real tough. Never done them but done a few bear racks. Boil for about an hour. Then soak in bbq and grill slowly. Right near the end, really baste with bbq and turn up the heat for a minute or two to sear them good. MMM Boy!

I never eat deer ribs ::huh:
But for pork:
Rub the ribs down real heavy with crushed sage and Lawrey's Seasoning Salt. Let them sit in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours. Cook over charcoal.
Serve with the sauce on the side, most won't use it after they taste the ribs :p

the best way I know to cook real tender ribs is.
baste ribs with liquid smoke, and what ever herbs you like.
put in roasting pan with water in bottom pan.
cover with alum foil.
put in the oven at 300 degrees for 45 min to a hour.
then put it on the grill and baste it with bbq sauce til it looks good to ya!
they should fall off the bone!

Deer ribs are great !! Boil em up with an onion , garlic powder , salt and pepper , remove the fat that comes to the top , after straining wrap em up in aluminium with some dry rub and a quarter cup of red wine and throw on the smoker or grill for about 30 minutes and eat

1.) Cut ribs from Deer
2.) Throw in garbage can
3.) Go to favorite meat provider and obtain ribs
4.) Cook normally
