Gun range/Gun club in north Ga.?

i live in cleveland, ga. [white county]. my son-in-law is in woodstock, ga. [cherokee county]. we both love to shoot. we're looking for a place somewhere in-between us, so we can meet, maybe weekly. especially along the ga. 400 corridor. any suggestions? i thank you in advance/steve

sorry. should've been more specific.

he's got an AR15, a few 9 mm pistols, and a pump shotgun.
also, an over/under 12 ga. for skeet.

i'm into black powder, dbl. barrel shotguns, and magnum revolvers. also, a 10-22, and other stuff.....

guess an 'indoor range' is out of the question. lol

i was thinking, if someone on here had a lease, i could just pay them, for an afternoon of fun.

would that work? i dunno the rules on that stuff.

Try River Bend Gun Club. They have several rifle ranges and 2 skeet/trap field's.

You can shoot on Nat. Forest land that is not in a WMA.

Think there's a range on a wma over off Hwy 365 in south Habersham/north Hall area. Not exactly between you and your son though.

Just like a dem*rat, wanting everything for free... lol

It is mostly old retired yankee union workers tryin to keep the riff raff out... lol

If you find somewhere, please let me know. I've shot Wilson Shoals but you are pushing it to get 75-80yds.
I would like min. of100yds and perfer 2,3, or 400yds.
I'm a safe shooter who'd rather be with other likeminded
shooters.
I have a self imposed rule on my shooting:
I will not shoot cows, horses or people with less than 8pts.

$200 initiation, and $200/year there on out. You can cut the yearly dues in half by attending the monthly word days.

Elbert County has a nice gun club. It has a range a a skeet course. Give it a try.
