Lost my mother

I lost my mother on May 31st after a long couragious battle with parkinsons disease. She just cellebrated her 73rd Birthday on May 29th and was brought home to die with dignity. I got the call while on duty and was told they were doing CPR. The crews worked for almost 40 minutes trying to revive her. I was on the phone and could hear in the background that they had done all they could do. Suddenly in the background I hear...We have a pulse. Being a medic myself, I knew the prognosis wasn't good and they transported. My parents and where I was raised is very rural with Family owned farms, acres and acres of soybeans and corn surround our humble home. It took approx 45 min to arrive at the nearest hospital. There, they continued in vain to revive her. The Dr. looked at my father and he gave them the nod to discontinue working her. My father and mother were married 49 wonderfull years and like most, she was the glue that held us 4 guys together. She joins my brother who died at 33 years of age 13 years ago with the lord. My mothers memory will forever be in my heart along with numerous friends. She was an actress who had parts in "Somehwere in time" with Christopher Reeves and "Scarecrow" with Al Picino.
I ask you pray for my father who had to make a decision based partially on my advise. Pray for him to know he made the right decison. Thanks..Dave
