I wont be setting til saturday after noon due to semi final highschool football game tomorrow and the SAT saturday morning. Just gonna put a small one out locally first then the long-ish one comes when i get out for christmas break

I hope to get some out today in some apple orchards.Going after yotes ,foxes and bobcats.Been seeing some red foxes in the yard on occasion,probably put some out here to.Do reds roam much or do they pretty much hang in the same area?

Reds have a small range, I try n avoid em cause they rare here in my area. I wanna catch some mink bad, yall ever catch any

Been a little slow, as I just sent in for my license on Monday. I do not plan to set until Jan. 2 when everyone is gone from one of my clubs.

I've never tried to catch mink.They're up here though,a friend of mine got one around some chicken houses a couple years ago.Made a pretty mount.

I got a few #11's I plan on setting for mink tomorrow, in a swamp where I seen mink sign everywhere I made some bait with fish oil, shellfish oil, crayfish oil, and anhydrous lanolin as a base, I know it works on cats but about mink will find out soon.

Set 6 dirt hole sets yesterday. Had nothing this morning. I typically don't have any luck until day 2 or 3. Hoping to have a yote in the morning.

Caught a yote and a grey fox Saturday.Had a possum and a coon this morning.Had some of my other sets worked by foxes it looked like.

Empty today, put out five more sets, 2dirtholes 2 flat, 1 p post. We'll see in the morning! Had another pullout by a yote too.

2 yotes, 2 red foxes and a coon the last 3 days. Caught a bobcat just before season opened that I let go. I've only got 9 traps in the ground. Too busy to get a good line out! Having a blast though.

Well my job fell completely through, so I loaded my full trapping gear in the truck, and as of daylight am running a full line, no more empty traps allowed

Had one trap dug up. Two other sets appeared to have a yote digging but never hit the trap. I must have gotten some scent on my traps somehow. Is it possible that they smell the walnut dye through the wax since I just had that done last week? I only touched the traps while wearing rubber gloves.
