Went duck hunting this morning with my BIL. The duck hunting was awful and has been all year. We killed the only 2 birds we saw, A hen buffle and a drake woody.
The lucky part came at about 7:40 when I head a few light clucks and yelps. Birds started talking and for the next 15 minutes we listened to 3 distinct groups talking on the river.
By 8 am they all flew over to the south side of the river and started to fly down (onto public, huntable land). In all we saw and counted over 30 birds and I'm sure there were many we couldn't see.
Please hurry and get here MARCH!!!!!!!!! :jump:
