ATN MK350 has served me pretty well thus far. It is a Gen1 but is very clear and accurate for less than $400. I have used it on my 5.56 and my .450 Bushmaster and it holds true. Doesn't go through batteries as bad as my flashlights did and comes with an infra red emitter for moonless or overcast nights. With 1/4+ moon I feel comfortable shooting out past 100 yards. Using the IR on moonless nights I keep stick to around 50 but could probably push it out depending on the target. Check them out on amazon and read the reviews.
