When did you go? Opener or late in the season?

I was there around 4/18 and I'm not sure when exactly we were in the season as far as early or late. To be honest, I didn't see the first hunter. My buddy though ran into a few road hunters. They would ride down the road and get out truck and make some calls. Get off the beaten path and you will find turkeys. It was terrible with a major drought and there was absolutely no water anywhere. Everything was dry and dead...to include farm animals.
