Box call

This call is approximately 14 15/16 inches long. The lid is cedar over a stained poplar box. I usually charge $75 for this call. If you like the old school touch this one is absolutely beautiful.

The only power tools that was used on this call was a table saw to cut the blank. A belt sander to shape the call and a drill press to drill out pilot holes for the sound chamber. The sound chamber was then hewed with a chisel and pocket knife. The outside of the call has been hand sanded. The finish was applied with my bare fingers and rubbed to a nice low satin finish.
